BCI is a multi-stakeholder, international initiative that aims to reduce the negative environmental and social impacts of cotton production and make the future of the sector safer by coming together and acting jointly with many different stakeholders, from producers to retailers.

 

It is an international, voluntary, complete product standard that establishes requirements for third-party certification of recycled contents, chain of custody, social and environmental practices, and chemical limitations.
